learning child careThis site was designed so Maryland Early Childhood Educators can quickly access courses that meet your educational goals and licensing needs. Here you will find COMAR specific courses developed in collaboration with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). These courses will be offered in a variety of formats including facilitated and non-facilitated and will meet the needs of both child care center staff and family child care providers. Early Childhood Educators, including pre-k teachers, can also access PBS Teacherline courses that have been approved for clock hours and continuing education credits by MSDE.

A career in early childhood education is rewarding but like all careers, it can be a challenge if you are not well-prepared and equipped with the skills needed to succeed. Investing in your own professional growth will lead to positive educational experiences for both you as an educator, and the children in your care.
